Coach. LPC, ATR, Trauma Therapist, First Responder Counselor

I believe that we all have the power to move from a place of struggle to STRENGTH. I work from a personal psychology perspective that allows me to journey alongside my clients in a path to wholeness.

Professionally, I am trained and skilled as a clinical therapist, with a speciality in trauma. I am a clinician, AND I choose to serve my clients as a guide.

Using my clinical background I will support you in navigating the struggles of the mind, and with my own resiliency beliefs and empathic understanding I will support you in navigating your strengths.

The difference between traditional therapy and my approach is simply that I will also care with you.

Similarly as in life coaching, the relationship that we will build is non-clinical and mindset focused. I've chosen to use the word GUIDE to encompass all that I can provide to you in your life- a clinical understanding and coping behaviors, resilience fortification, community advocation and connection, mindset building, strength transformation, and a personal relationship as a motivator, influencer, and above all an equal.

I support clients in understanding healthy coping and expression, in increasing their emotional agility, and in encouraging their movement towards strength. I specialize in evoking resiliency, mind and body safety, and positive response connection post transition. I am motivated to support those affected by universal feelings of pain and loss. I believe in the use of creation and empowerment to foster healing. I believe that our pain can give us purpose and I encourage the mindset of Post-Traumatic Growth.

I am married to a firefighter and I am a full-time stepmother to our children. My family believes in therapeutic and community support. We love to be a part of the communities we have the opportunity to touch. My husband and I have a passion for facilitating and creating/teaching resiliency, career, and couple trainings together and are avid sharers in the common struggles and uniquenesses of being a first responder family.

I live by the existential view that being alive is what makes us human, and being human is about finding healthy purpose. I am an adventurer at heart. I love to explore, trail run, travel, and am inspired by motivational experiences, and the challenging of my own personal limits. My personal journey through healing reflects these experiences of loss, triumph and growth.
