do Better.

Offering Fire skills and mindset work for preparing and elevating the success of the scene.

Ever known a successful team to be without an efficient equipment manager? Some might argue that Nate and Will were the MVP’s of AFC Richmond, and the key to their successes and losses (Ted Lasso).

Fire Engineers, similarly to stellar equipment managers, must possess a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the job, they must use a variety of tactical skills, experience, and cultivation of outcome preparation to advantage their team. They must embrace training, be open to new ideas and ways of thinking, preparing, which means they must be consistently and consciously re-evaluating their plans based on the intake from learned, progressive and experienced industry professionals. This all starts with an ability to recognize the importance of their job and to not become complacent. This involves physical improvement training and mindset work.

Through Film Time and Scrimmage Time, Dave and Elevate Coaching will work with your department on mindset and tactics.

FILM

Dave educates on ownership.

Becoming a driver doesn’t mean your job ends when your emergency vehicle makes it to the call. You must find opportunity when your crew is on-scene.

Film time will break down visually, real life scenarios, showing opportunities for responders to be more efficiently well rounded players.

Engineers are more valuable than departments give us credit for. We have the ability to be MORE than just the drivers. We can equip our team, proactively and assertively with the tools they need to fight and protect. This starts with our ability to shift our mindsets from inceptive and reactive to aggregative and assertive.

Own your role.

SCRIMMAGE

Dave demonstrates ownership.

Surveying the scene and the equipment needs, starts with practice.

Scrimmage time will put into practice various modeled scenarios, where players can implement scene efficiency.

In order to own our roles as aggregative and assertive members of the team, we must put their mindsets to the test. Practice makes warriors.

Prove your role.

TRAIN STRONG. WORK HONORABLY. LOVE FIERCELY. LIVE LONG.
